Behind this project is a team of immigrants just like you — meet us and the coins guiding your financial journey.

Who We Are and Why We’re Doing This
We are a group of immigrants who came to this country with little savings — some of us with none at all — but with a strong hope to start a new life.
People often talk about the “American dream,” but what they don’t always say is that reaching it takes much more: paperwork, a new language, adapting to a different culture… and one of the most important pieces — money.
Financial health isn’t optional when you start from scratch in a country where money shapes so many of your opportunities. Good financial habits are real tools for moving forward, growing, and reaching your goals.
Before migrating, someone gave us advice we’ve never forgotten:
“You walk over the United States — don’t let the United States walk over you.”
That’s why we’re here. We want to help you walk that learning curve with confidence, step by step. Because we’re all learning — and the journey is better when we walk it together.
Why We Use Coins
We chose coins as our characters because they represent progress — just like coins increase in value, your financial knowledge can grow step by step.
Each coin guides you through a different stage of your journey — from your very first steps to more advanced decisions — so you can learn clearly, with structure, and at your own pace.
Using coin characters also helps us organize the content by topic and difficulty, so nothing feels overwhelming or out of place.
Our goal is simple: every time you read an article, we want you to feel more confident with your money — and one step closer to your goals.
Our Mission, Purpose, and Why We Remain Anonymous
Our mission is to give you the financial knowledge you need across your entire journey — from the most basic topics, like understanding what an ITIN is, to more advanced ones, like generating passive income through index fund investing.
Yes — immigrants can invest in the stock market too, if they have a plan and the right tools.
Between those two points, there’s a world of concepts, habits, and decisions — and we’re here to help you understand and apply them in your daily life.
We also chose to remain anonymous, represented through coin characters, for two important reasons:
First, because we want the focus to stay on the content — not on us.
Second, because the coins allow us to represent different levels of financial complexity: from the penny that explains the most basic terms, to the dollar that helps you explore long-term investing.
What matters isn’t who’s behind the page — what matters is what you can learn and apply as an immigrant living in the U.S.
